Bitch Tits

You may find my reading selections strange...

No, this is not meant to be a sexist or derogatory term. It is however, bodybuilding jargon for what happens to a guys chest when his estrogen levels are too high. I will get into that a little more in a minute, but I am in fact starting to read the above book for reasons other than that too. I have been having more and more female adult clients come to me because whatever it is they are doing or have been doing, has stopped working. Females are almost always after fat loss and they will try to achieve this through nutrition and training, but what happens when these two stop working? I have been able to help but some inevitably hit a wall. Things that work with the men or the younger female clients just don’t seem to work for them any more.

In this case, I have two choices, send them packing or figure it out. And anyone that knows me knows that sending them packing is not an option because it means that I haven’t figured out why the results have stopped coming. A woman hits her first down turns in metabolism at roughly the age of 28, then 35 and 40 is the big shebang. Now is the metabolism really altered that much? Probably not, but the hormonal profile changes quite dramatically as a women goes through these age periods. And what is the main female sex hormone? Estrogen, the cause of man boobs as well. I will get back to more on the female problem of the ‘stubborn body’ as I study hormones more over the next few weeks, but the rest of this post is a quick hit on man boobs.

I remember a friend of mine back in high school, phenomenal athlete, but he had these saggy fat deposits on his pectoral muscles. It didn’t make sense, clearly this kid wasn’t on any anabolics but he still had this problem. Let me back track a bit, when taking exogenous (extra, outside) testosterone, the body will concurrently produce more estrogen to keep the balance. This excess estrogen often times manifests itself in the form of ‘gyno’. I have never had this problem while on testosterone and I think it is due to part good estrogen clearing abilities of my body and smart usage. This conditioning is not dangerous but is more of a cosmetic issue. One thing you might try is increasing water and getting on calcium d-glucarate. Both of these are the best purifiers and detoxifiers around. Excess estrogen can come in the form of toxins in what you are eating and thing such as plastics leaking into the water and food we consume. Many times this condition is non-reverseable except through surgery, but if the case is mild, it tells me we have to address your estrogen levels.

I do not condone any young athletes, under 25, to address this probably through the use of exogenous hormones as YOU DON”T NEED IT AT THAT AGE and it wouldn’t help once the problem is there any way. In the worst case scenario, talk to your doctor and get some blood work done. Detoxify the body’s cells and let it do its magic. If you need help with a problem like this, Newell Strength may be able to help you through nutritional and lifestyle protocols.
