Way back when we began the Ripped Dads program in 2014, the main objective was to give the dads out there a group of men that had similar aspirations as far as being the best dad one could be.

It didnโ€™t matter the political beliefs, the skin color, none of that external fluff and stuff.

It was about cutting to the chase of what it meant to be a strong, ripped Dad.

Each morning when I pray, I pray that my soil becomes richer so my roots can grow deeper and that I can carry out what God, my creator, wants me to carry out.

Part of my soil becoming richer is for me to become the best dad and husband that I can be.

As you know, itโ€™s not easy, when life has so many different focal points.

But what I have found to be one of the best remedies for staying on track is to surround myself with like minded individuals, be it in business, Jiu-Jitsu, or fatherhood.

You need to have a group of peers that are on the path with you, yet, they have a totally different set of experience, wisdom and skills.

It is our job to not only share our skill sets with other dads, but to learn from other dads as well.

This is how you cut down your learning curve, while at the same time, getting in touch with your primal side of โ€˜going into battleโ€™ with other men.

Society has made most men and dads out there too soft.

I know that that line of thought is embraced by many out there, but not I.

As a dad, you are going to be in your prime of some sorts from 40 years old on up.

The greatest inflection point is when you still have โ€˜itโ€™ physically and you have the wisdom to go along with it.

Even after your physical peak is behind you, you can be in your prime by nature of your skill set and wisdom to pass on.

What time of dad and man are you going to be when you are 80 or 90?

When the grandkids come over, are they going to want to sit near you just to feel your presence and to listen to your stories?

If so, you did it right.

And thereโ€™s no time like the presence to get started.
