1 Arm Bandit

The Single Arm Dumbbell Bench is a great exercise to expose asymmetries in upper body pushing movements. During a regular Bench Press, you may not notice one side exerting more force than the other. This compensation pattern, over time, will be a catalyst for injury.
Here's How:
✅Grab one dumbbell in your non dominant side first
✅Lay back like you would for a normal DB Bench
✅Making a fist, extend your empty hand straight out to the side for support
✅Punch the sky with the weight-bearing hand
It's important to keep a rigid core to avoid too much "English" on the movement. Pressing with one side at a time drastically increases the core demands on this exercise. Give this a try and hit us with any comments or questions!
