Just a couple of months ago it seemed like summer was just beginning...and it was.
Well, today marks the unofficial end of summer.
Which, if you reframe it, it’s a great time because it marks for many of us a ‘new year’.
What will you do differently heading into this fall?
Why do want to be in shape? What’s it all for? I can tell you this, it’s not about how you look. Yes, you can fool yourself into believing that, but it’s just ego satisfaction and a fool’s game. Trust me, I’ve been the fool in that regard many a time.
Emma is a little over a month old now and I can clearly see the payoffs from my fitness goal heading into the 2nd quarter of this year, which was to get my bodyfat under 10%. It had nothing to do with how I looked, and all to do with making sure I had the fitness and energy to be the man and dad I wanted to be during the first few months of her life.
How would it benefit the boys and Devon if I was an overweight, lithless, zombie?
