‘Dude, Are You Okay’?

About 6 weeks ago, I was working at Newell Strength Flemington when I started getting the chills.

It turned out that it was the start of the flu. And boy, did that kick my butt.

Anywho, I didn’t work out for roughly four weeks because of it. When I don’t work out, I tend to ‘shrink’ pretty quickly.

Combine that with my fasting protocol and weight melts off of me. To put it in perspective, I weighed myself out of curiosity for the first time in 3 months the other morning and I weighed less that I did at my last bodybuilding show!

Getting sick like that and not working out for a while means that I am nowhere near where I used to be in terms of physical strength, but that’s okay.

My one friend was recently comparing me to some other friend’s commenting on who was the strongest etc. Then he says, ‘But, you always have the best mindset, no one can touch you with that’.

Hey, I’ll take it. I’ll take a bit less physical strength and more mindset mastery any day of the week!

As you progress in life from ‘warrior’ to ‘teacher’, some of your old physical ‘stuff’ will fall away….
