Here’s How I Did It

A week and a half ago, I was looking forward to leg day with my buddies Frank and the Wolverine.

It’s an unusually tough workout as legs should be and it is nostalgic for me since it brings back memories of my competition days.

Anyhow, we’ve been finishing with a set of 4 minute squats (to put this in perspective, it’s rare to see anyone do even a 30 second set of squats) after a whole bunch of other tough stuff.

Well, I planted the seed in my brain a few days prior to see if I could do the entire set with only nasal breathing, no gasping for air through my mouth.

And wouldn’t you know it, I was able to do it. How? Well, I’ve been practicing and learning and realizing the benefits of it. But what it boils down to is that I simply decided that that was what I was going to do.

New area of my brain was accessed.

Decide you are going to grow and you will.
