A few weeks ago, I was giving a testosterone seminar to a group of about 15 while dressed as β€˜Dr. Test’.

What’s that look like you ask?

You’ll have to come to the next one to find out.

Well, at one point, I was asked the question about donating blood and phlebotomy and I explained the importance of it.

But, I also explained that I can feel when my blood pressure creeps too high by simply doing a hamstring stretch and noticing what happens. Some of the guys chuckled as I explained this to them and indeed, it is always spot on.

But I digress.

Perhaps a love of the physiology of the human body was what drew me into the field, just as someone that loves numbers may be drawn to accounting.

We each have our specialty, so I don’t expect the biofeedback I am going to mention to be something you notice in yourself, just yet….

One of the things I do for my morning routine is that I write down my affirmation.

I normally do that with my opposite hand, in cursive, for many reasons for another article of the strange and mysterious.

What I have noticed though is that if I had a good night’s sleep, the lines are much smoother and it is overall easier to write that way.

If I only got, say, 6 hours of sleep, the fine motor coordination isn’t quite the same, which tells me I need more rest.

I remember years ago doing a drill for a while when I woke up, which involved seeing how many dots I could make on a piece of paper when I woke up and counting them. If the number was low, it would indicate the same thing, something going on with my rest.

Pay attention to little things like this, that way you can tackle the BIG while it is still small.
