I want you to think about the last time you saw a moth going towards a flame.


It almost can’t help itself, even if that means dying in that flame.


I am not sure why that happens, but that moth, for today’s lesson, represents your attention.


I believe there are things in your life that you don’t like right now, could be some of the larger worldly things going on or it could be your focus on trying to preach your beliefs to the β€˜other side’.


Allow me to let you in on a little secret, which quite frankly, is so simple, that you may not believe and therefore may never put it to practice, but that’s on you.


There are invisible forces in life, that I’ll call pendulums. Pendulums in this instance swing in a 360 arc and accumulate energy. A pendulum does not care if you're for or against it’s cause, it will take your energy and use it.


Your energy, if it is β€˜anti’ the other side, is still arising from the same energy level as your opposition: fear, anger, pride and so forth.


Two Rams running full speed at each other carries a lot of energy and force within them and their pending collision.


You become spent when you use force or when you try to avoid a certain situation.


But avoiding a situation that is driving you nuts still gives that situation control over your thoughts and attitudes, words and then your very real physical reality.


So here it is: don’t avoid things. If they don’t serve your reality, simply choose to ignore them, let go of that rope. It’s not good or bad, it simply doesn’t deserve space in your head.


If you can manage to do that (and you can if you so choose, I can tell you that from my experiences), you will put off a completely different type of energy that leaves others wondering why β€˜nothing bad’ ever happens to you.


From a Mind Map perspective, it comes down to your attention. Where your attention goes, energy flows and results will manifest.


And from Mind Mapping we know that emotion amplifies attention.


Use this knowledge to get out of the invisible prison you may find yourself in in some area of your life.


Everything begins with your thoughts and inner dialogue.
