I began my fasting journey 8 years ago.

In that time, I have had many lessons and experiences, one of which is this: The longer you practice fasting, the more your relationship with food will change.

Most people come to me for fasting Coaching to lose weight, not all, but most.

Once they begin to get into a groove, they start to notice that they no longer are craving crap food.

Yes, itโ€™s okay to eat that stuff here and there, but it will no longer have a grip on you.

One of the main principles that I teach is that food is a drug.

When you are in the grips of a drug, it will control your decision making.

Through fasting, we heal insulin resistance and thus, can begin the journey of learning what foods should taste like and learning about our own personal signals for appetite and feeling of fullness (satiety).

Most people go about life eating to the clock just because thatโ€™s what theyโ€™ve always done.

No matter if they donโ€™t actually need to eat that often.

Their drug of choice, aka food, is used to change their state.

Food is a stimulant, a depressant and a distraction.

Donโ€™t get me wrong, food is also a blessing and one of the great bonding elements of life.

But, when oneโ€™s life revolves around food because of something that is eating away at the person on the inside, then oneโ€™s body becomes the physical manifestation of whatโ€™s going on inside.

As within, so without.

More to come in the coming weeks on the Panda Diet and Panda philosophy.

Look within my friend.

But first, start with a fast, itโ€™ll give you the space and clarity you need.
