Back in 2014, I went to learn from Dax Moy about Mind Map.

I fell in love.

So, when he presented me the chance to learn from him for another year, I jumped.

And in a recent lesson, he dropped a bomb that I didnโ€™t connect the dots with the first few times around.

I always tell people that there is a big difference between a change and a transformation.

A change is temporary and then you revert back to baseline or even further.

A transformation is when you get to a new level so to speak, kind of like in a video game.

Actually, thatโ€™s a damn good analogy.

When you get to a new level in a video game and you have a set back, ie, your character dies to some video game boss, you start back at the beginning of the level.

But, you donโ€™t have to start all the way back at the beginning of the game.

When we transform and develop newer, better habits, we will still have regressions.

Yet, hereโ€™s the key.

We will regress to our baseline habits.

When stress hits, you will fall back to your new baseline, just like starting over at the beginning of your current video game level.

The path to transformation is full of setbacks, expect them,

But know that the work you do on your habits is well worth it.
