6 weeks ago, the current Ripped Dads began their journey.


Which means they are wrapping up their transformational program at Newell Strength.


One of the main things I always want to try to impart to my fellow dads is the concept of discipline.


The times in my life where I have had the most joy and therefore success, are the times when Iโ€™ve lived the most disciplined lifestyle.


That is a part of why I do a 48-hour fast every week. Yes, there is the physical benefit, but really, itโ€™s about the mind and my mindset towards leading a disciplined life.


When it comes to managing your day, some people just go with the flow and thatโ€™s fine, thereโ€™s beauty in that too.


But the real key is to combine that mindset with extreme discipline.


It is the rare man that leads a militant life of discipline.


The one thing everyone wants is freedom. It is the one staple ingredient of happiness.


The masses have been led to believe that freedom comes when you arenโ€™t leading a disciplined lifestyle.


I have news for you; the more discipline you live with, the more freedom you will have.


Freedom in terms of health.


Freedom in terms of time.


And freedom in terms of living life on your terms.


When you are disciplined, you are in control of your mind.


When you are undisciplined, your mind is in control of you.


Start with one small daily action and allow the invisible threads of discipline to turn into unbreakable chains, slowly, but surely.
