A 3 Burger Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I’m not sure what’s on the menu tonight to be honest, but 2 weeks ago, I had quite a memorable dining experience.

We were out with another couple, a new client from Flemington and his wife.

We went to one of our favorite hangouts, the Dunellen Hotel, and wouldn’t you know it, Coach Mike was there with his crew, sitting right next to us.

Our table was BSing for quite a while and when it finally came time to put the order in, I decided to order two burgers just because I hate having to go home and eat after eating out (I have a quite large appetite).

Well, from the other table, Mike says, ‘I bet you he can’t do 3’.

Game on.

It had been a while since I had an eating spectacle. The couple we were with were quite amused, but they were awesome about it.

I polished those 3 plates off no problem and it brought back memories of yesteryears.

Yes, this was my one meal for the day and yes, I will remember that night forever more because of it.

And yes, I have cut way back on my protein consumption and that’s a part of what I teach in the Panda but it doesn’t mean never.

With eating, follow the fasting principle and enjoy your food and the experience of eating with friends and family.

By the way, I didn’t even get the food sweats, which means I probably could have done another 2 no problem.
