Cardio Training Correctly

I knew from the very first time that I prepped for a bodybuilding contest that doing traditional, slow long distance cardio wasn’t right.

Allow me to explain.

If your goal is an endurance sport or you really do like hopping on a treadmill, then it’s all good.

If your goal is better heart health and weight loss, then it’s not going to get the job done.

You see, the muscular system trains the cardiovascular system. The more muscle you work, the more benefit your ticker gets.

And, assuming you are following some type of fasting, then for additional fat loss, you need to get your heart pumping head to toe.

This is why we design the workout programs the way we do at Newell Strength.

Now, this all has to fit into the scope of where you are starting from.

Something a top level Coach can assess, like our Coaches at Newell Strength:).
