𝙼𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝙼𝚊𝚙: 𝙲𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚈𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝙿𝚊𝚝𝚑 𝙷𝚊𝚜 𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚎𝚚𝚞𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚜
Braxton started kindergarten yesterday, August 30th.
It’s a pretty surreal time for Devon and I.
He was just a little chipmunk what seems like not that long ago.
He will thrive, no doubt about that, as we continue to have the village raise him.
Anyhow, with everything going on, we had made the decision about a year ago that if things remained the same way they were with the public schools, we would not be sending him in.
We didn’t know exactly what we were going to do, but we had options.
And just like that, we found our school.
It was recommended to us by our brother-in-law.
We went on a tour and knew this was the answer to our prayers.
Yesterday, we attended the meet and greet and got see about 50 other families, all in the same boat as us.
It was a great day.
While the kids were eating Kona Ice Cream, which had been set up to come and dish out the ice, I was talking with a few of my buddies, whom are sending their children as well.
It hit me, maybe with everything going on, there doesn’t need to be any conflict. Maybe it is as simple as I believe it to be, you simply have to choose your path, that’s it.
Think about it, when you pray, you are directing your attention.
Where your attention goes, energy flows and results will follow.
We are living in unprecedented times.
Confusing as they may be, I do believe that all you have to do is choose which reality you want going forward.
When you are under the thumb of fear, you have no choice, you are herded along with all the others that are being blasted with fear.
It’s your life, you get to decide.
Either way, whichever path you choose, it’ll have consequences (remember, consequences can be good or bad).
Lastly, I like to recall and use a lot of pop culture to validate my thoughts. One scene that always pops into my mind is from Indiana Jones, where he has to cross to the other side of the ravine, but there is no bridge.
He is told to have faith.
He sprinkles some sand and it outlines the shape of a bridge. So he takes a step and so on and so forth. Just because he couldn’t see it, didn’t mean it wasn’t there.
Have faith, direct your attention and go with the path that best suits you.
