The Greatest Nation on Earth: Imagination

Ever since I was a little guy, my grandfather, Leo, used to tell me how I loved to tell stories.

It was one wild story after the next.

Funny thing is, I didn’t realize about Colt, until Devon pointed it out, that he does the same exact thing.

He can weave you a magical story that has endless scenarios and adventures from scratch.

It comes from his imagination.

Think about this: everything in your life, that you do or have, has started out in your imagination.

You may not have thought about it that way, but it did. Imagination is the first part of the creative process.

Although, most people don’t think about it like that, they tend to think of imagination as childish (it is), and thus shun the thought of it.

When your mind can imagine something, it's a great thing. It just needs to be followed up with words and then of course, action.

You know what is directly tied to your imagination? Your level of optimism.

Want to know how to become more optimistic?

Write down 3 things every single morning that you are grateful for and 3 ‘wins’ from the day prior.

Your brain is hardwired for the negative, its a survival mechanism.

You are the captain of your soul, of your ship. It’s up to you to steer it in the right direction.

(I’ll be covering this in the upcoming Goal Setting webinar next Monday, see the link below).
