Dance Like You Don’t Care
A couple of Fridays ago, we had our first ever 80’s dance.
Man, was it a good time.
We had about 50 members there and it will be a yearly tradition now.
DJ Kofi was superb.
I had a blast dancing as I normally do, but it wasn’t always that way.
I used to be petrified of getting out on the dance floor.
There was too much thinking going on for me. Thoughts of being self-conscious, looking silly and caring too much about what others might think.
That all changed when I stopped giving a flying you know what about what others think of me.
I got to tell you, it IS true freedom.
Start the path of this road by dancing the next time you have the opportunity.
Life is short.
At a wedding not too long ago, I got my parents out on the dance floor. All I had to say was, ‘How many more times do you have to get out and dance like this?’
No, that is not morbid.
It's called living with a sense of urgency.
