Do You Think You Can Focus for 60 Seconds?

Two weekends ago, we were having our staff pool party.


At the party, the topic of Braxton and BMX came up, so I dove into what I am really digging about the sport.


You see, we rode bikes all the time as kids, we did our ramps and tricks and longer rides, but we didn’t have a sport to compete in.


Point being, I am still learning about it just like Braxton.


Anyhow, one of the things that is great about the sport for a younger athlete is that they only have to focus for roughly 60 seconds. That’s it.


Then the race is over.


60 seconds is much more manageable than sitting on a field for a couple of hours with constant distractions.


60 seconds doesn’t sound so hard, does it? It depends on what you are doing. But I promise you this, if you can string together a bunch of 60-second blocks where you are completely present, your day would be full and rich.
