Have You Ever Rode in the Rain?
2 weeks ago, it was Wednesday.
Indeed it was. And on Wednesdays, I am on dad duty.
It’s a nice change up for us all.
Part of our normal routine is to go for a nice bike ride, stop at a playground, play, then ride back.
Brax zooms off on his dirt bike or racing bicycle and I ride with Emma and Tank in ‘bumblebee’, their little cart behind my bike.
Well, on this particularly day, it was raining pretty good out, but we didn’t let that stop us. My initial gut instinct was to find something else to do, but then, living true to my thought of doing the opposite of what most people would do, we decided to go.
It was a blast, we got soaked, the weather wasn’t too cold and the boys wound up getting to go down a pseudo-water slide over and over.
What would be the reason not to ride in the rain? Because you might get wet?
Hmmmm, get wet vs. creating a experience….
When you put it like that, it’s an obvious choice.
