Here’s a Recovery Workout

On the first morning after our first night in Nashville, a night which I stayed up until 3:30 CST, a time I haven’t seen in many a year, I woke up, despite only 4 or 5 hours of sleep and felt great.

It wasn’t long before a bunch of the guys were roaming around and the idea of a workout popped up.

Well, Budgy had a pair of power blocks in his Jeep and a couple of the guys have been following Newell Strength for years, so I had to make sure to give them a memory.

Think about it. A bunch of dads, at a bachelor party, out all night partying, waking up and hitting a 35-minute workout in the parking lot, much to the entertainment of all the other partiers staying in our development.

It got everybody feeling good and ready for the day’s festivities.

Sometimes, you can have a great workout, despite being out of your element, if the environment is right.

That includes where and with whom.

A good recovery workout includes laughter and fun.
