Lessons from a Morning Tailgate
Two weekends ago, we went to the Rutgers-Michigan State game.
Believe it or not, we’ve been to a bunch of Rutgers-MSU games, because my parents both went to MSU.
For this particular game, my old mentor and good friend, Head Strength Coach, JB, hooked us up with some awesome tickets, 3 rows off the field on about the 50!
It was a great day.
Anyhow, being that the game was at noon, we had a morning tailgate, which meant breakfast, something I rarely ever do with my Panda fasting.
My options were:
-Skip out on the eating like the old me would have done
Or
-Enjoy the moment.
I enjoyed the moment.
Life is all about making decisions.
Now, that doesn’t mean its all roses, it’s just weighing your options and going with the best route.
I felt bloated and sluggish for a while, but I’ll take it, because I had a great morning and memories with my family, including my 94 year old grandmother, Chrissy.
Feel no guilt with food and don’t be a martyr.
