Live Your Life Fully
On the morning that I am writing this email to you, we are a few hours away from laying my grandfather, Leo’s, body to rest in peace.
Although his death was sudden, almost reminding me of when I have lost friends and buddies throughout the years, far too young, Leo lived a full, rich life.
A few weeks ago, I went out hunting with a mentor of mine and I was successful. The doe that I shot, which I honored, was to me, just like Leo.
This beautiful animal lived right up until a few seconds before it was struck.
No slow decline of the brain or body, just pure life.
That’s how Leo lived for darn near 94 years.
Whether or not we should all be so lucky to make it that long, the key is in living each day to the fullest.
I saw Leo do it.
Live for the moment.
