Movement is Life

A few weeks ago, I shared with you that I had a pretty significant hamstring tear.

The night of the day that it happened, I was in a lot of pain, but I had clients and a team to train, so I did just that.

When I got home that night, Devon said, ‘You aren’t going to workout tomorrow then, right?’

I looked at her like she was crazy. Of course I was going to workout. And yes, I would still get up at my normal time to continue with my magical morning routine.

You see, when people get injured or some unforeseen event happens, they usually stop with their normal routine.

In some instances, there isn’t much that can be done.

But if you are able, you have to keep moving forward with the foundational habits of your life, otherwise, you will lose momentum and risk sliding backwards into a funk.

Life is movement.

Toughness is about maintaining your daily disciplines even when life throws you a curveball.
