The Circle of Life
The other day, I made a spontaneous decision to go out for one of my weekly hunts.
And as luck would have it, I was successful.
Now, I know that some of you aren’t hunters, in fact, the majority of you are not hunters so I won’t go into too much detail.
To me, hunting is about life and living off of your land.
Anyhow, the innards are spared and left for other animals to live off of. Nothing goes to waste, this isn’t for fun, but as I said, the circle of life.
Well, a couple of days later, when I came up for a glass of water from my garage office (Devon and the kids were eating lunch), I looked out the kitchen window and noticed a gigantic Bald Eagle!
We’ve seen them down by the river, but never on the creek.
It was amazing and as the circle of life would have it, it went down and ate the innards.
Imagine that, we, my family and I, living off the land, shared an animal with a Bald Eagle.
Life is a circle and life must be honored and appreciated.
Don’t waste any bit of it.
