The Creepy Cemetery
Allow me to pick up where we left off yesterday.
After sharing a gelato, Suzy wanted to stroll the quaint little town of Neshanic.
So, we went up and around the bend, only to discover an abandoned complex. Jackpot! I love that type of stuff.
As we were approaching one of the buildings to look around, we noticed what seemed to be a cemetary. Obviously that had a stronger pull. We went in.
It was hard to read most of the headstones because they were so old. But we did make out that one held the remains of a lady born in 1767! That’s over 250 years ago!
A bunch of generations have passed since that lady passed. What remains of her? Not much. Yet, death is our greatest teacher. We are only here for a slice of life, we are fortunate enough to be able to experience that little slice.
You don’t have forever, you only have now.

P.S-We left once some odd noises began to spook Suzy. There was definitely someone back there as we heard a voice or two along with some rattling. I’ll go back to explore a little more by myself.
