The Nicest Tough Guy in the World
A few weeks ago, I was at jiu-jitsu and happened to be wearing my Westside Barbell shorts.
In case you don’t know, Westside Barbell is the strongest gym in the world, founded and run by Louie Simmons.
Louie is in his mid 70’s now and as a matter of fact, he is in a book I wrote some 8 years ago, Anabolic ReCharge.
How’d that happen you ask?
I built a relationship with him.
I picked up the phone and called him, not thinking that I would be able to get in touch. But wouldn’t you know it, he called me back until he got in touch with me.
He was also instrumental in giving me guidance with my first patellar tendon rupture.
I had so many ‘experts’ back in the day that I reached out to, even offering to pay for their time, that wouldn’t give me the time of day.
Louie was different.
That’s part of what makes him world class.
Who can you help out or lift up today?
