Unbelievable Storm Hits Home
Two weeks ago, we had a storm for the ages.
The night prior, a gentleman told me it would be raining the following day, in fact, up to 3-4”.
And when midday rolled around and not much had happened, I figured it was just par for the course as far as weather predictions.
Then, it hit.
At 5 PM, I took Colty to Taekwando and it began to rain on the way there.
It didn’t stop for hours, in fact, I believe we got over 7” of rain.
Local towns were decimated and people died.
It was unpredictable, flash flooding everywhere, a real scene.
That’s life though. Mother Nature is not to be taken lightly.
I can speak for my family; we were prepared because we always like to have options.
Think about this storm in terms of your health.
Are you waiting to get in shape?
Get prepared now, start a program. In these times, you must be in your peak physical, mental and spiritual shape.
Fitness is the ability to cope with the said demands for your specific circumstances (people don’t understand this concept, that a writer needs to have fitness for writing hours per day, etc.).
Learn from the power of Mother Nature. Chaos can strike at any moment.
