What Does Fitness Mean to You?

One of the first things I learned about Mind Mapping back in 2014 was that we need clear definitions.

Most people just go on autopilot and assume that health means being a certain weight and looking a certain way.

Most people equate happiness with money.

These are some of society’s default definitions.

When it comes to fitness, fitness is literally the ability to perform the specific tasks you need to perform.

If you were Stephen King, your fitness would equate to your ability to write for a few hours each day.

If you were Elton John, it would mean being able to write and perform songs, for hours on end.

For you, what do you need your fitness for? Unless you are a professional trainee, then be sure that your workouts are laying the foundation for the fitness that you need.

You’ll know when you cross that line and you have lost sight of your fitness goal.
