Yes, Physical Education is a Real Thing
Way back in 2005, I was in the midst of student teaching after deciding to go back for my health and physical education teaching certification.
This came after interning with Rutgers Football Strength and Conditioning and substitute teaching for a bit.
Anyhow, I remember people giving me the attitude that PE, aka gym class, wasn’t a serious profession.
And while that may the be case for some in the field, I took it very seriously, all while having fun of course.
Your physical education may be something that you haven’t thought about in quite some time.
But I assure you that it is an area you want to focus on daily.
Your body is your temple.
Your body should always be learning through different positions, games, challenges, through nutrition and rest modalities.
And, your kids, if you have them, are always watching you and seeing what you are up to, even if they are adults at this point.
Your body is the gateway to your mind, both of which lead to the spirit.
