You Can Only Think of the Future If.

Two weekends ago, I took out my sword (my pen) and wrote down a few lines in my notebook.

In fact, what I wrote that day is now going to be turned into a podcast.

These are philosophies that I will add to my life’s principles.

Anyhow, one of the things that I wrote down was this: ‘You can only think of the future if you are going to picture a future of beauty.’

Otherwise, what’s the point? All fear is based in the future, when we begin to think about all the things that may go wrong. This type of thinking is a form of visualization, so next time you say you can’t visualize, just think about all the times you worry.

That’s all the worry is, negative visualization.

Back to the point, I will catch myself anytime my mind leaves the present moment and audit if its thoughts of a beautiful future.

Otherwise, I will live presently. After all, the present is really the only thing that’s real.

Just some food for thought.
