Your Goals Aren’t Finite

Way back in 1997, I first became a serious student of goal setting, as most would refer to it.

I dedicated myself to taking 500 jump shots per day and visualizing success at night. In some ways, it was the most ‘successful’ period of my life. The results were otherworldly!

Anyhow, the mistake most people make when setting goals is the thought, ‘When I get to ‘x’, I’ll have arrived, I’ll be complete.’

No, you will not be complete. You will just be breaking into a new frontier.

Think of yourself as a trailblazer, a modern day Lewis and Clarke.

The more new frontier you can explore in your life, the richer your life will be and the more you’ll be a master of your mind.

How’s that you ask? Because, each new frontier will require that you have a better mind, a new skill set, to move forward, otherwise, you’ll regress and/or stay stagnant.

The real point of target setting isn’t in achievement of the specific goal, but rather in the growth internally of you as a unique human being.

P.P.S-We will be having our annual Thanksgiving workout for charity on Thanksgiving morning at 7 AM sharp. It will be outdoors due to circumstance but the show must go on. Non-members are welcome to join including out of town visitors. There is a minimum $10 donation to participate. All proceeds will be going to a local man, more details to come.
